Bazar Blot Rules
A clear overview of a game: bidding, trump, card play, combinations and scoring.
Game goal
Four players play in two teams of two. Your team wins tricks, collects points and tries to complete the contract announced during bidding.
Deal and teams
- Each player receives 8 cards.
- Players sitting opposite each other are partners.
- The first turn of each round moves from player to player.
Bidding and trump
- The minimum bid starts from 8.
- A player chooses trump: ♣, ♥, ♠, ♦ or A, where A means no-trump.
- KP means kaput. With kaput, the bid starts from 25.
- Bidding ends after 4 passes in a row.
- The team that wins bidding must score at least bid x 10 points.
Contra and recontra
- Contra can be announced by the opposing team after a bid.
- After contra, the bidding team can answer with recontra or pass.
- Contra and recontra increase the bid value in round scoring.
Playing cards
- The first player may play any card.
- If you have the lead suit, you must follow that suit.
- If you do not have the suit and the opponents are winning the trick, you must play trump if you have one.
- The trick is won by the strongest card of the required suit or the strongest trump.
Combinations
A combination is declared on the player's first turn. Cards are shown automatically on the second turn, only if that team won the combination comparison.

Round scoring
- Base card points in a round: 152, the last trick adds +10, total 162.
- Points are divided by 10 and rounded to the nearest integer: 112 = 11, 116 = 12, 115 = 11.
- If the contract is completed, the bidding team receives its tricks, its combinations and the bid.
- If the contract fails, opponents receive the base round score and the bid; in no-trump A the bid is counted additionally.
Game end
The game ends when one team reaches or passes the target score of the mode. If both teams reach it at the same time, one more round is played.
